Being witnessed in your experience is a powerful and necessary component of healing. Research in attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and affective neuroscience shows that healing occurs through right-brain-to-right-brain connection—the nonverbal exchange of presence, attunement, and safety. When your experience is met with regulated, compassionate attention, the nervous system receives the signal that it is no longer alone, allowing implicit memory and emotional patterns to reorganize and integrate.
You can begin to change your story about their non-verbal, early trauma and gain greater capacity. In this place of safety, you experience attachment focused protocols which are consistent and measured for repairing early ruptures and the consequences. Primitive reflexes are automatic, instinctive responses that develop in the womb and support birth, early survival, and development. They are the building blocks of the nervous system, forming the foundation for movement, regulation, and brain development in early life.
These reflexes originate in the brainstem and spinal cord and help infants breathe, feed, grasp, orient to safety, and move. As development progresses, primitive reflexes support milestones such as rolling, crawling, standing, and walking. When the nervous system matures, these reflexes are meant to integrate, allowing higher brain functions—such as focus, coordination, and emotional regulation—to emerge.
When primitive reflexes remain active beyond early childhood, they can continue to influence the nervous system. Retained reflexes may contribute to challenges such as chronic stress responses, anxiety, sensory sensitivity, difficulty with balance or coordination, emotional reactivity, fatigue, or feeling “stuck” in survival mode.
While primitive reflexes are typically assessed shortly after birth, they are rarely re-evaluated later in life—yet their influence can persist. Somatic and nervous system–based work can help support integration, restoring greater ease, regulation, and resilience.
One On One: Somatic touch work, a blend of trauma informed somatic healing blended with energetic modalities, Somatic EMDR, and Primitive Reflex Therapy . Transforming Touch® is an attachment-focused neurophysiological method of hands-on and intentional healing, and is an effective way of facilitating regulation within the client’s nervous systems.
Virtual: Transforming Intentional Touch®, all the protocols and enhancements have been tweaked to work without physical touch. The power of working with intention has been expressed and shared by Healers from around the world. Some actually believe it is much stronger than using physical touch.

The Healing Collective offers an opportunity to come together in a community online that is focused on healing while in the comfort of your own space.
Designed to provide care that is both accessible and affordable in a small group of 6 to 8 people– eliminating many of the barriers for receiving quality care.
Virtual Group Sessions uses the trauma-informed healing modality called Transforming Intentional Touch®.
In these sessions we will create the scaffolding that gives your system support, addressing all aspects of you to increase the functioning in all areas.
Sessions are held weekly over Zoom – participants have the option to keep their camera on or off during the session.

When the body is in a chronic state of fight or flight, the sympathetic nervous system becomes dominant, prioritizing survival over other functions.
The brain’s focus is on immediate threats, making it difficult for new information to be processed or retained effectively. The body’s physiological stress responses can overwhelm cognitive functions and impede learning.
Regulation helps shift the nervous system out of this survival mode and activates the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing the body to attain balance. This state is often referred to as the “rest and digest” mode. In this regulated state, the brain integrates new information more effectively, making learning not only easier but also more enjoyable. When our bodies feel safe and regulated, our cognitive resources are freed up for higher-order processes like learning, creativity, and problem-solving.
Psychedelics can have profound effects, but their impact varies widely depending on the individual’s mental and emotional state.
For those with a dysregulated nervous system, psychedelics can lead to overwhelming experiences rather than facilitating healing. The therapeutic benefits of these substances are often linked to their ability to help integrate and make sense of the experience, which can be challenging if the nervous system is not regulated or prepared to integrate the new information.
Prepping the nervous system with TT work can help create a more stable foundation for the psychedelic experience. Additionally, focusing on integration in the body after the experience ensures integration of the insights and allows for more fundamental shifts. TT therapy before the psychedelic experience and after facilitates a more balanced and sustained impact rather than a fleeting or potentially destabilizing one.
Stress management and nervous system regulation can impact conception, pregnancy and fetal development.
The HPA axis plays a major role in the body’s stress response, and during pregnancy, it is activated three times than normal, leading to increased cortisol production. This is a natural response, but how the mother’s nervous system manages stress beforehand can influence the body’s activation while trying to conceive and during pregnancy.
Transforming Touch® focuses on nervous system regulation, and can help recalibrate how the body interprets and handles stress. By supporting the mother’s ability to stay regulated, this can also positively influence the development of the baby’s nervous system, potentially fostering a more balanced stress response in the child. This modality helps set up both the mother and baby for better resilience and health throughout pregnancy and beyond.
